Sense and Nonsense of OKRs
Sense and nonsense of OKRs – why companies are adopting OKRs today Discussion led by Yan Wagner and Constantin Hilt, Teal Systems GmbH
Are you interested in OKRs, and why many companies (small to large) are working with OKRs today? Would you like to know if OKRs are suitable for your company and what the first practical steps for implementation could be?
The meetup is for everyone interested in OKRs, considering implementing them, and, of course, for all critical questions, concerns, and challenges.
Of course, we carry the enthusiasm for OKRs in our name, but it is very important to us to question the sense and usefulness of OKRs.
We hear from many companies that they are considering working with OKRs or are already in the process of implementing them.
OKRs are also promoted by consulting firms, and one might almost think it is THE ultimate solution.
But let’s take a step back: why now, actually?
In a small discussion round, we start again from the beginning and ask: why might it make sense to work with OKRs, or where might it not make sense?
But we don’t want to stop there; we also want to discuss the first steps for a sustainable introduction of Objectives and Key Results.
