OKR Circle meets Irfan Uyar, Product Manager @Google
OKRs were introduced at Google in 1999, when Google was still a small start-up, by Google investor and venture capitalist John Doerr.
Over two decades later, Google, as an international corporation, is still purposefully using OKRs.
Irfan Uyar, Product Manager @Google, is excited to share his personal experience on how OKRs are used in a global tech giant with over 150,000 employees.
Among other things, Irfan tells us how he successfully works with OKRs in his team, how his team’s objectives align with the entire organization, what challenges he faces, and how he effectively deals with obstacles.
“OKRs are an integral part of how we approach our goals as a complex organization to respond to the rapid changes in the tech sector internationally.”
We are also pleased that José Santos, OKR Circle, will moderate the meetup.
